Our Flooring Itself
Also each of our floors is custom produced to each client's specifications. So the combination of colors, finishes, textures, species and even different planks of the same species and flooring, will appear different in the photos and in real life. In fact, that is one of the marvelous characteristics of our floors, each floor, each plank is an individual.
Factors exclusively in nature's province also control how the flooring looks. The grain will look lighter or darker depending of whether you look at it across the grain or with it; from above or at an angle. The different color inherent in different lighting conditions such as tungsten light at night or skylight during the day all affect how the floors look, how the grain shows up and even the color itself. This gives our flooring its warmth and constantly changing character that no mass produced flooring can ever hope to attain.
